Originally released for the Travel Retail market, Auchentoshan's Noble Oak is a 24-year-old Lowland single malt. Oak is at the fore of this one's flavour profile - particularly robust and intense for a Lowland expression.
Nose: Waxy orange peel, forest floor, a light touch of damson.
Palate: Peppery cedar and resinous pine. Layers of toffee and buttered bread, with some Sherried fruit, too.
Finish: Caramelised peach and another kick of oaky spice.
ABV: 50.3%
